Reviews help patients make informed decisions and help providers improve their practice. Here's how our review system works:

Who Can Leave Reviews

To maintain authenticity, reviews come from:

  • Patients who booked through MedXimity
  • Patients who verify they visited the provider
  • Only after the appointment has occurred

Where Reviews Appear

Reviews are displayed on:

  • The provider's profile page
  • Search results (star rating)
  • The provider's dashboard (for their reference)

Star Ratings and Written Feedback

Each review includes:

  • Overall Rating: 1-5 stars
  • Category Ratings: Wait time, bedside manner, staff
  • Written Review: Patient's comments about their experience
  • Likelihood to Recommend: Would they recommend this provider?

Review Guidelines

All reviews must follow our guidelines:

  • Be based on actual patient experiences
  • Focus on the healthcare experience
  • Not contain inappropriate or offensive content
  • Not include personal information (full names, addresses)
  • Not be fraudulent or fake

Review Moderation

We monitor reviews to ensure quality:

  • Automated screening for inappropriate content
  • Manual review of flagged content
  • Removal of reviews violating guidelines
  • Investigation of fake review reports

Review Authenticity

We take steps to ensure reviews are genuine:

  • Verified appointment system
  • One review per visit
  • Fraud detection algorithms
  • Providers cannot pay to remove reviews

Updating or Removing Reviews

Patients can:

  • Edit their review within 30 days
  • Request deletion of their own review

Providers can:

  • Report reviews that violate guidelines
  • Respond publicly to reviews
