I grew up as the sick kid of the family, suffering from: asthma, allergies, spinal meningitis and immune problems. Imagine yourself in the hospital as a young kid, scared, alone and coughing in the middle of the night. Test after test, and medications to cover up the symptoms with no end in sight. In my twenty's a Doctor of Chiropractic told me that I was the best healer in the world and that breathing came from the brain stem in my upper neck. I liked breathing so much that I went to school and became an Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractor. Now, I help people get healthy, off the revolving circle and living their lives the way they want to. I was in and out of the hospital for my asthma, spinal meningitis, double pneumonia and severe allergy problems. I can remember lying in the hospital bed crying my eyes out waiting for my parents to come visit me. All my life I had to avoid a list of things that would trigger my allergies or give me an asthma attack. My sister introduced me to her chiropractor and I decided to give it a try. After all, I thought it would hurt a lot less than all the painful tests and drugs that I had used in the past. The chiropractor did an exam, took some films, and then "adjusted" my spine. The adjustment didn't hurt, it actually felt good. I got relief, and I could actually breathe during hay fever season! It worked so well that I went to chiropractic school myself. It's strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their carpal tunnel syndrome problems. Also they come to me with their headache
