My husband has been seen at this clinic by Dr.Rybak multiple times over the last few years. After sustaining a neck injury, I quickly found that the standard medical approaches weren’t working for my pain. Being 20 weeks pregnant, the treatment options were limited. After one acupuncture session with Dr.Rybak, my pain has significantly decreased. I no longer have to rely on Tylenol or frequent applications of topical pain relief cream. I can't recommend highly enough the team at WellBridge Clinic and the level of care they provide. They caregivers here blend effective traditional medicine with scientific knowledge, skill and amazing compassion. I started experiencing severe lower back and neck pain due to spinal stenosis and compression fractures, which were also having a terrible impact on my mental health. My primary care physician recommended I try acupuncture, which I had never considered. I was skeptical but was willing to try anything at this point. The intake at the clinic included giving a very long and detailed medical history. I had my first appointment with John Rybak, who from the first moment presented as caring and knowledgeable. He put me on an intensive 2x/week treatment plan for 4 weeks, including supplements, some e-stim and cupping. After the first several sessions the pain had noticeably diminished and my mood was improving, and after four weeks I had gone from roughly a 6 to a 2 on the Kaiser pain scale. Granted, I was also receiving PT and psychotherapy for chronic pain, but I truly think the acupuncture provided the most benefit. And, my mental health was significantly better as well. WellBridge acupuncture provides a calming, non-judgmental space for my body and mind to heal together, which is so important for lasting relief. The facilities are clean, professional and well maintained. The treatment rooms are relaxing, almost spa-like, not antiseptic and impersonal like a regular doctor's office. The front office staff is extremely attentive, competent and caring and always greet me by name with a smile. I received treatments from acupuncturists John Rybak and Bradley Sasao-Ruef, and both are tremendously empathetic and wonderful in their approach, care, and detail. They each bring their own touch and perspective, but with both of them I always leave a session feeling so much better physically and emotionally. Their acupuncture has an emotionally and physically calming effect. I don't know what it is, but after twenty sessions I'm now a believer. If I could receive acupuncture from them every day, I would. I will be forever thankful for having found these folks at WellBridge and for the gentle way they've helped me improve my life.
