Dr. Robert Shaw

I found Shaw Family Chiropractic out of a moment of desperation after waking up with debilitating headaches and migraines for a year and a half. I spent most of my days walking around trying to crack my own neck, feeling the tension and a very obvious pain that was constant between the base of my skull and my neck. One day I woke up with one of the worst migraines I have ever had and decided that I couldn't take it anymore, I googled local chiropractors despite being on state insurance and knowing most places don't take my insurance. I came across this place and I can't express my gratitude enough. They offer a same day diagnosis and adjustment for just under $100 and I immediately drove myself down there. From entering the door I was greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile by Dr. Robert Shaw. From my appointment we talked about the pain I was in and what areas bother me the most, I was educated on my spinal structure and nervous structure which was fascinating, I was diagnosed WITHOUT an x-ray. Which is what makes this place even more impressive. Because Dr. Shaw was spot on about each area I needed help with. What blew my mind was the doctor was able to see and diagnose a hip issue that I didn't EVEN BRING UP at the appointment. My hip had been bothering me for quite some time (but the headaches were more important for me) Within my first appointment I recieved my first adjustment to my neck along with various other places of my spine that had always given me a hard time over the last 15 years. By my second appointment my headaches and migraines were gone. I'm going on maybe 8 or so adjustments so far and I have not had a single headache in 8 weeks! I can't believe I waited so long to treat myself. I can't believe what clarity I have each day now being headache free. I could cry about it honestly. I can't say enough great things about this place, Dr. Robert Shaw is such a people person, who truly cares about his line of work and helping people. Another great experience I had with him, as he doesn't take appointments, (you just show up on days he's open and when its convenient for you) I drove down here one day shortly before the holidays, the doctor had a printed schedule out for customers to take because he had some days out of the office, I had drove down there, walked up to the door to see a closed sign, because I forgot to look at his schedule, and as I was walking away, the doctor opened the door and said, "come on in, I have a few minutes before I have to get to the airport," He took me in and adjusted me despite having other obligations, I was very grateful for the service. And to be treated so kindly!! I can't say that any other business has let me in on days they're closed. Moral of my review is, you don't need insurance, it's a flat rate fee of $50 or so to be adjusted and the schedule is at your leisure. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very much passionate about his craft!

Endroit très propre ! Le Dr Shaw a été très gentil et m'a accueilli chaleureusement lors de ma première visite là-bas. Il m'a fait sentir tellement à l'aise et surtout, il a pris soin de ma douleur ! Il a expliqué ma douleur et mon plan de traitement à un rythme parfait. J'ai hâte d'y retourner pour mes suivis !

Ayant bénéficié à la fois de la thérapie par ondes douces et de la thérapie par ondes de choc, je peux vous dire avec certitude que la thérapie par ondes de choc est définitivement la voie à suivre. (Ne vous méprenez pas, la thérapie par ondes douces présente certainement certains avantages) Je suis étonné, mais pas surpris, que les compagnies d'assurance n'aient pas encore adopté cette forme de thérapie. Au moment où je quitte cette revue, j'avais eu trois rendez-vous de thérapie par ondes de choc chez Shaw Chiropractic avec le Dr Gina et le Dr Rob. Un ami de mon église m'avait dit que la chiropraticienne Shaw proposait une thérapie par ondes de choc. Lors de ma première consultation, ils m'ont expliqué tous les avantages de la thérapie par ondes de choc et les différences entre la thérapie par ondes de choc et la thérapie par ondes douces. Je n'ai ressenti aucune pression de la part de l'un ou de l'autre lorsqu'il s'est agi de m'inscrire à la thérapie. J'y étais allée parce que j'avais de l'arthrite aux deux pouces et cela me faisait très mal. J'ai expliqué que l'arthrite était héréditaire et que je craignais de ne jamais trouver de soulagement. Je suis heureuse de dire qu'après seulement trois traitements, la douleur à mes deux pouces s'est considérablement atténuée, je peux dormir la nuit ET je suis capable de faire plus de choses qu'auparavant. Il ne me reste que quatre séances et je suis certain que lorsque j'aurai terminé, mes douleurs aux pouces auront disparu. Je tiens à remercier personnellement le Dr Rob et Gina pour tout ce qu'ils font. Et bon sang, pendant que j'y suis, je prends la parole et je reçois un ajustement de la part du Dr Rob. Si vous ressentez des douleurs dans N'IMPORTE QUELLE articulation, je vous recommande vivement la chiropratique Shaw et la thérapie par ondes de choc.
