Dr. Robert Shaw

Having been the recipient of both the soft wave therapy and the shockwave therapy, I can tell you for certain, the shockwave therapy is definitely the way to go. (Please do not misunderstand me, the soft wave therapy definitely has some benefits) I am astonished, but not surprised, that insurance companies have yet to embrace this form of therapy. As of the time that I am leaving this review, I have had three shockwave therapy appointments at Shaw chiropractic from Dr. Gina, and Dr. Rob. I had heard from a friend in my church that Shaw chiropractic was offering shockwave therapy. In my initial consultation, they explained to me all the benefits of shockwave therapy and the differences between shockwave and soft wave therapy. I felt no pressure from either of them when it came to signing up for the therapy. I had gone to them because I have arthritis in both of My thumbs and it has been very painful. I explained that arthritis Runs in my family, and I was concerned that I would never find relief. I am happy to say that after only three treatments, the pain in both of my thumbs has subsided tremendously, I am able to sleep at night, AND I am able to do more things than I could before. I only have four Sessions left, and am confident that by the time I am finished the pain in my thumbs will be gone. I would like to personally thank Dr’s Rob and Gina for all they do. And heck, while I’m there I get on the table and get an adjustment from Dr. Rob. If you’re experiencing pain in ANY joints, I strongly recommend Shaw Chiropractic and Shock Wave Therapy.

I have known Dr. Rob for years but moved out of the area. Recently after a back and hip diagnosis I decided to fly back to CT to see Dr. ROB. He is always seeking the most effective cutting edge treatment that works 💪. He asked questions, listened for understanding explained his new procedures and why it works. I felt comfortable and when he was done after the 2 day process the pain was gone, I stood upright vs. Contorted and bent over and I was able to walk through the airport with freedom! I am so grateful thanks Dr. ROB!

I’ve had such an amazing experience here! The doctor listens to your needs and really focuses on not only your physical health but mental health as well. After just one visit I could tell he really understood what I needed and has already improved my pain. I love the walk-in aspect, especially as a mom, it’s very hard to make and keep appointments with a changing schedule! Would highly recommend! Already have recommended my whole family!
