My thirteen-year-old was diagnosed with hypermobility and patella femoral syndrome in both knees. She plays both volleyball and basketball. In January, she sprained her left knee during basketball practice. It's been a struggle trying to get her back to 100%. She was seen a couple of times by a PT through our medical insurance, but her knee pain level was always at a two or three. Over the next couple of months, her knees continued to bother her. She even injured her right knee during a basketball game in July. A friend of mine recommended going to Empower Physical Therapy and Wellness because my kid was just not getting better and we wanted a second opinion. And I am so happy we took their advice and went for that visit! Our PT took the time to really assess and evaluate my daughter's knees. He showed her how to do the exercises, what muscles to focus on when doing them, and how to make them challenging. He set a timeline and markers for her progress. It was such a relief to have someone create a roadmap to her recovery. This made such a difference since we've always gotten just a vague timeline for her recovery in the past! Three weeks in and she's already reporting having zero pain and discomfort in both knees! That's a HUGE deal! I can't recommend them enough. The attention to detail, the work ethic, and their treatment of patients exceeded our expectations. I'm grateful that my daughter is doing her PT with them.

This has been the best physical therapy experience I’ve ever had. The team works together like a pit crew at a car race—efficient, in sync, and completely focused on your success. Dr Jason is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. Empower PT makes me feel like I can do it and that my recovery is truly possible. I’m so grateful for the encouragement and expert care every step of the way.
