Attorney accounts on Medximity include:
- Account creation and directory access — Free.
- Secure messaging — Included with your account.
- Record request submission — Free to submit.
Provider Fees
Fees charged by providers for records and services are set by the individual provider and governed by state law:
- Medical records copying fees — Per-page or flat-rate fees as permitted by your state's medical records fee schedule.
- Certification fees — Additional fee if you need certified copies of records.
- IME fees — Set by the examining provider. Disclosed before scheduling.
- Rush fees — Some providers charge additional fees for expedited record delivery.
Payment Methods
Provider fees can be paid directly through the Medximity platform via credit card. Invoices are generated by the provider and sent to your Medximity billing dashboard.
Receipts and Documentation
All payment receipts are available in your billing history for reimbursement and client billing purposes.
