À propos

Alisa Eischen, founder and owner of WaveFit, has been a practicing physical therapist specializing in orthopedic disorders since 1991. She was a volleyball player for the University of Southern California (USC) who through the course of her athletic career had 6 knee surgeries and carefully manages her residual joint pain to this day. Through both her professional and personal experiences, Alisa has an appreciation for the benefits that water exercise offers in pain reduction and injury recovery. During her work as a clinical faculty member for the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, Alisa frequently used a warm water therapeutic pool in treating patients at Orthopaedic Hospital. The pool proved to be highly beneficial to people with a variety of issues ranging from post-joint surgery recovery to pain management and preventive care. Later, in her career as Director of Physical Therapy at Torrance Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Group.
