Dr. Iguess and Dr. Oswald graduated from TCC in 2011. Dr. Iguess was Valedictorian of his class where they earned their Doctorate of Chiropractic, as well as their Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. Dr. Iguess also earned his Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Technology from McNeese State University in 2006. During clinical rotations at Texas Chiropractic College, they had the honor of being selected to the Rice University athletic rotation. They were also accepted to rotate with several of Houston's leading Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Surgeons. Dr. Iguess' postgraduate studies include Active Release Technique™, Graston Technique™, and Kinesio Taping™. Dr. Kanon Oswald is a native Houstonian. His educational background includes a Pre-Med program at Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr Oswald also worked with the Nigerian Olympic track & field team for the Olympic trials!Vanguard Spine & Sport was opened in October of 2014. It was founded by Dr. Lance Iguess and Dr. Kanon Oswald with the goal of improving function and activity in people's lives and preventing unnecessary pain medications and surgery for joint and back pain patients! The name "Vanguard" means cutting edge or forefront and that defined who we wanted to be in the the health care community. We want to provide the best customer service possible and provide all the services need to reach your goal under one roof.
