My name is Dr. Michael Varnay. I am a board certified chiropractor specializing in conservative management of chronic pain. I use a multimodal diagnostic and treatment model to determine the 'cans and can not's' of conservative care. I combine, when clinically indicated, manipulation, mobilization, muscle release, lifestyle modification and rehabilitation to achieve the best results with the smallest risk. The goal of conservative treatment is to correct or provide accommodation for the physical limitations of the patient and allow them to remain active for as long as possible.Chiropractic is a safe and effective practice that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Doctors of chiropractic typically treat complaints such as headaches, neck-pain, back-pain, and sciatica. Care might consist of patient education, rehabilitative exercises, modification of daily activities and joint manipulation. Chiropractors or chiropractic physicians utilize a hands-on approach which consists of patient examination, proper diagnosis and treatment.
