John Rybak is an acupuncturist specializing in the empowerment of people to live their lives more fully by resolving the obstacles to their health through acupuncture, herbal therapy, moxibustion, diet therapy, exercise counseling, and shiatsu massage. John uses the problem solving skills and scrutiny of a scientist coupled with an expansive perspective of possibilities that make him uniquely skilled as a medical practitioner. John is a published Systems Biologist specializing in ecology, behavior, and taxonomy. In 1996, he visited an acupuncturist for a nagging back pain. The treatments resolved the pain, and filled him with an imperative to study acupuncture. Over the last 17 years, John has been actively pursuing studies in wisdom traditions and healing arts with practitioners across the United States, Mexico, Japan, China, Tibet, and Thailand. Today, as a PDX acupuncturist and herbalist, John provides the best of an ancient medicine for people to thrive.In 1996 John was a published systems biologist with low back pain. He saw a chiropractor two times a week. Reluctantly, he visited an acupuncturist. The results were amazing. After a few treatments, the pain was gone. As a scientist, John needed some answers and has been studying ever since. Today, The WellBridge Clinic in Portland provides a wide range of health care solutions for the skeptical first timers as well as the seasoned veterans who have experienced the benefits of Traditional East Asian Medicine.
