Jim Bowman, D.C. was born and raised in Portland and has lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of his life. Prior to chiropractic school, Dr. Bowman received his undergraduate degree in religious studies and philosophy from Seattle Pacific University. While preparing to spend a year in northern China teaching English, he experienced an episode of severe back pain that was skillfully resolved by chiropractic therapy. This experience inspired him to attend the University of Western States, which he graduated from in December of 2010. Jim loves to garden with his wife, Heather, hike, snowshoe, rock climb, bicycle commute, play with their mini schnauzer Ollie, and collect eggs from their chickens.Solutions Chiropractic is a clinic in NW Portland that empowers patients to experience healing and self-reliance through movement and manual therapy. This is not your typical chiropractic practice. Here, treatment strikes a balance between strategies that help you to heal yourself and the appropriate use of hands-on therapies to get you moving in the right direction.
