Dr. Diana M

Diana is a licensed physical therapist in the state of New York. She is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist; a certification attained by less than 5% of physical therapists nationwide. Diana completed her bachelors of health science at Quinnipiac University, where she served as the cardio-kickboxing instructor. Afterwards, she continued on to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, earning her doctorate in physical therapy with honors. Her extensive education and practice allows her to not only treat common injuries but also to specialize in sports related injuries, post-operative treatment and spinal rehabilitation. Diana individualizes her treatment by tailoring manual therapy, evidence-based practice and functional exercises to best satisfy her patient's needs. She also takes a special interest in treating the running population. After performing a thorough evaluation and running analysis, Diana focuses on alignment, form and injury prevention. When she's not in the clinic, Diana teaches in the prestigious physical therapy department at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. Currently, Diana is pursuing her certification in manual physical therapy (CMPT) through the rigorous North American Institute Of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Outside of the practice, Diana enjoys hiking, yoga and running half marathons.
