Dr. Michael Wooten has been a treating Chiropractic Physician in the Long Beach area since 1994. Born and raised in Southern California, he received his primary and secondary education here. He was awarded his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where he had the distinction of graduating with Honors and was elected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. At Alamitos Bay Chiropractic and Wellness Center, Dr. Wooten specializes in treating athletic, industrial, and automobile-related injuries. He is also a specialist in the management of chronic pain and has a particular interest in whole family nutrition and chiropractic wellness. Dr. Wooten is also a Certified Equine and Canine adjusting chiropractor, and performs chiropractic on both horses and dogs. As part of his community outreach, Dr. Wooten offers Pet Fairs, where he teaches pet owners how to access joint function and perform massage on their beloved pets.Dr. Wooten has been serving the Long Beach area since 1994, when he established his first office on Second Street in Belmont Shore. Dr. Wooten specializes in sports injuries, as well as general family practice and treats patients from the AVP, WTA and ATP, United States equestrian and Olympic team and United States ski team. Dr. Wooten believes in a philosophy of full-body wellness, and incorporates not only the chiropractic adjustment, but extensive physiotherapy, body work, and rehabilitation.
