Hana has been practicing massage for over 30 years, over 20 years full time in Oakland. She is certified in over half a dozen different modalities. Neither her experience nor certifications make her an expert in you. You are the expert in you. She works to get to know your unique body through verbal and non-verbal communication. She works to get you relief from stress and tension in a way that lasts long after the massage is complete. Your feedback helps her get you an amazing massage - every time. She is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference with you, bringing you back into your body, and feeling good inside your own skin.So, it's a funny story, really. It was late summer and I was driving down to LA in my little Honda Civic hatchback where the "A/C" was actually just a fan blowing around hot air - maybe this car translated "A/C" as "air chaud". Cruising just past Bakersfield with the heat blowing outside And inside the car, I could feel myself melting. And, then, it hit me. Sans blowing heat, this was the name of my business: Melt Massage! Melt Massage was born out of a long summer's drive and my commitment to making a difference in peoples' lives. Fulfilling this commitment has led to the growth of this practice for over 20 years, stretching out to a group practice for many years, and now returning to a solo practice.
