I am so fortunate to be a Chiropractor. My job allows me to help people get well, and then to optimize the performance of their body. Through the chiropractic adjustment, I gently remove tension and pressure off irritated nerves exiting the spine. The nervous system controls all of the body's systems, so it's important to keep it optimized. I have the true pleasure of doing this without drugs or surgery. Those new to chiropractic often times find it fascinating and exciting. This brings me great joy, especially as they start to experience all the 'good' side effects beyond pain relief, such as:feeling stronger, more relaxed, sleeping better, and being less nervous. If I am not convenient, I hope to help you find a Chiropractor who is, and whom you can implement as a foundational component of your health care. Chiropractically Yours, Dr. ADr. Alvis practiced abroad for three years in Lima, Peru and Jakarta, Indonesia before he and his wife returned to Portland in 2010 to start his practice and her new business, Portland Creamery.
