Connecting Your EHR System

Follow this guide to integrate your practice management system with MedXimity.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Access Integration Settings

  1. Log into your MedXimity provider dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  3. Click "Add EHR Integration"

Step 2: Select Your EHR System

  1. Choose your EHR from the list
  2. Review integration capabilities
  3. Click "Connect"

Step 3: Enter API Credentials

You'll need information from your EHR:

  • API Key: Provided by your EHR vendor
  • Practice ID: Your unique identifier
  • Endpoint URL: Your EHR's API address

Contact your EHR support for these credentials if needed.

Step 4: Configure Sync Settings

Choose what to synchronize:

  • Availability/schedule
  • Appointment bookings
  • Patient demographics
  • Cancellations and reschedules

Step 5: Map Appointment Types

Match MedXimity appointment types to your EHR:

  • New Patient → Your EHR's new patient type
  • Follow-Up → Your EHR's follow-up type
  • And so on for each type

Step 6: Test the Connection

  1. Click "Test Connection"
  2. Verify data syncs correctly
  3. Check availability appears on MedXimity
  4. Book a test appointment and confirm it appears in your EHR
