Dr. Barone was born and raised in New Westminster BC, with a love for sport and physical activity. He graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from The University of Western States in 2000. In 2008 he completed the International Chiropractic Sport Science Diploma (ICSSD), and in 2010 he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is currently enrolled in Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Paediatrics (CACCP) program. He has volunteered chiropractic care at international events such as the 2009 World Games in Kaosiung, Taiwan, and the annual Penticton Ironman Canada from 2008-2012, and Whistler Ironman Canada from 2013 to present. He has also provided care at numerous local events both in Vancouver BC and in Portland Oregon including the Hood to Coast Relay, and BMO Vancouver Marathon.Dr. Barone opened NewPort Village Chiropractic to provide thoughtful and personalized sport chiropractic to his community. He has volunteered his time for many local events, and volunteered at multiple international sporting events including 8 Ironman Canada Triathlons. When Dr. Barone was expecting his first child in 2010, he decided to obtain a specialty in prenatal and paediatric chiropractic. The purpose of our practice is to help people achieve their dreams, from birth to old age.
