Dr. Cayer spent several years abroad in Portugal and Italy where he attained fluency in Portuguese and Spanish, and the breath of experience that living abroad gives. Upon his return to the United States, he continued his studies at the Franciscan University of Steubenville where he graduated cum laude with degrees in Philosophy and Theology and a written final thesis on the philosophy of medicine. Dr. Cayer entered Chiropractic College at the Palmer Campus in Port Orange, Florida in July 2004. During the span of his education, Dr. Cayer invested countless hours learning techniques that would enable him to address nearly any biomechanical problem that the body could present.
