A strong desire to help and lead others in the full pursuit of health and fitness led Dr. Pain to become a chiropractor. He has assembled the best team to support the vision of providing the greatest care and service to our community.We have grown from a single practitioner practice in 2000, to include a full team of 9 professional health practitioners plus support staff, in a beautiful historic building in downtown Kingston.

In early January 2026, I slipped on ice, fell on my head and seriously hurt my neck. A subsequent X-Ray would later show I had fractured a ligament and a cervical disc was 3 mm out of place. My doctor prescribed physiotherapy and I chose Live Well based on the strong recommendation by a neighbor. I chose well - resident physiotherapist Rutvi Rathod has been brilliant, caring and understanding and Dr Peter Pain equally engaged. A very professional and welcoming organisation which begins with the courteous and helpful receptionists. They are to be commended and your first choice.

Can't say enough good things about The Live Well Centre. Dr Peter Pain and Dr Laura Gifford have been my chiropractors for years. I trust them both to give me outstanding treatment. They are incredibly professional and genuinely care. The gait analysis and orthotics are exceptional. Jordyn always greets me like I'm family. I've used all the services at The Live Well Centre and know I'm being extremely well looked after.

I started going to the Live Well Centre for chiropractic needs based on a recommendation from a former Live Well Centre staff person. They were right one! The care I get from Dr Pain is amazing! From there I have had massages and physiotherapy. All of the staff are wonderful and I would highly recommend!

Where do I begin? Between the absolutely unimaginably stellar service from the reception desk, all the way through to the magnificent back cracks provided by the one and only Dr. P. Pain, there is no room for improvement. If I could give this establishment a million stars, I would - 5 just doesn’t seem sufficient. God bless the team here at the Live Well Centre, and a big shoutout to my bestie Jordyn. Although she may have an obsessive fetish for lipgloss and hand cream, she is the brightest star of them all. Kingston’s entire population should be coming here for all of their chiropractic, massage therapy and laughter needs.

I am very grateful to Peter for sharing his knowledge, which has had a positive impact on my life. When I first met him at the gym, he kindly gave me a lacrosse ball and explained that it was all I needed, saving me from spending money on any more "trigger balls". I am deeply thankful to Peter, and I have been passing on his generosity ever since. You will be in excellent care with Peter and his wife, who own The Living Well Center.
