Dr. Suzie has been providing holistic chiropractic and clinical nutrition to the Bay Area since 2010. Her educational background reflects her broad range of expertise, ranging from undergraduate and graduate degrees in classical philosophy and the history and philosophy of math and science from St. John's College, to doctoral and master's degrees in chiropractic and Functional Medicine. She is a certified Applied Clinical Nutritionist, and has completed thousands of hours of continuing education on the topics of nutrition, herbal medicine, craniosacral therapy, and sound healing. Dr. Suzie is a natural educator, and enjoys taking complex topics and translating them into relatable and interesting insights that help engage her patients with their own healing process. Her holistic approach is not just a treatment method, but a way of life, one that she herself follows with a deep level of passion and commitment.HeartsongHEALTH was established in 2010, originally located in West Berkeley and eventually moving to its current home in Alameda. HeartsongHEALTH is comprised of two holistic doctors, Dr. Suzie Lee and Dr. David Lee, a husband and wife team and true partnership. Dr. Suzie leads the chiropractic and clinical nutrition arm of the business, while Dr. David leads the "Food Skills" division, offering private and group classes on menu planning, reading food labels, ethical and healthy food sourcing, and cooking instruction. Dr. David also manages the HearstongHEALTH office, which means that every patient has the benefit of not just one, but two doctors to assist them with every aspect of their treatment plan.
