A propos

Scott has been a state licensed Physical Therapist in Missouri since 1987. He graduated with honors in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Health Professions. In 1990, Scott earned a Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Six years later, he earned the Diploma (Dip.) in MDT of the spine from the McKenzie Institute International. He has been a guest lecturer for the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Kansas School of Physical Therapy. Scott has participated in several research studies for the treatment of the spine through The University of Texas-El Paso and The State University of New York in Syracuse. Scott has received his Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In 2001, Scott founded Summit Strength Physical Therapy. It has now grown to 2 locations and 17 clinicians. Our locally owned physical therapy clinic started in Lee's Summit and opened a second location in Blue Springs in 2017. We now have 17 clinicians providing one-on-one physical therapy every visit.
