After being hit in the face with a soccer ball and sustaining a jaw injury, my primary care physician suggested muscle relaxers or surgical intervention. A local chiropractor ended up helping, but he mentioned that not many chiropractors focus on injuries outside of the neck and back. As I decided to go into the health industry and chiropractic, I wanted to bridge the gap by specializing in jaw, ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and wrist injuries. The owner of Straight Up Chiropractic (Dr. Gavin Hall) grew up and completed his undergraduate studies in St. George. After moving away to complete his graduate degree, he started this company to help heal his home town community with the new muscle activation technique that sets his business apart.
