What I do is less of a job and more of a calling. I take pride in getting results and deeply enjoy interacting with my clients. I approach every day with gratitude and try to bring joy and humor to my work. I treat massage as a form of moving meditation, letting the client's body guide me to the areas that require work. I use chiropractic techniques ranging from extremely aggressive to extremely light and subtle. No two bodies are the same, and I never do the same thing twice. While I appreciate everyone who finds me on yelp, I find its business practices to be troubling at best. I don't know that I would give them a 5 or even 2 star rating.Our office is currently being remodeled and will be open for business by the end of October. Check back soon! Dr. Smith practiced in Atlanta, GA for over 13 years, and was recognized as one of the city's top chiropractors on multiple occasions. He moved to San Francisco in early 2018 and recently made Placitas, NM his forever home. Dr. Smith did his training at Palmer West in San Jose which focuses on treating athletes. Early in his career he began incorporating a wide variety of soft tissue and energetic techniques into his practice. He finds that a more holistic approach to care is far more effective than repeating the same therapies and expecting different result. From Massage, Craniosacral and Chiropractic to Nutritional Advice and Meditation, Dr. Smith explores every avenue available to help guide his patients back to health.
