Webster technique is a chiropractic analysis and gentle adjustment of the sacrum. As with all chiropractic adjustments, the intent is to improve the nervous system so the body can function better and pelvic balance can be improved. A balanced pelvis reduces undue tension to the pelvic muscles and ligaments. Muscle Release Therapy Muscle Release Technique ("MRT") treatment is like an active massage. The chiropractor will use their hands to locate the presence of scar tissue adhesions within the soft-tissue of the body. Once located, the chiropractor will shorten the structure to be treated and then use active patient movements to lengthen the structure. Through the application of specific pressure and tension on the scar tissue the chiropractor will be able to breakdown the problematic scar tissue, thereby restoring the proper flexibility and motion to the area.
