Dr. Barr and her staff are amazing! I highly recommend Rocket City Osteopathy to anyone dealing with chronic pain, especially if it’s due to hypermobility/hEDS or coat hanger pain from POTS! Her staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s also really easy to schedule appointments. The waiting time is never long, but if it were, I would be fine with that because they have a couch, which I personally prefer to sit on when at a doctor’s office. It doesn’t feel like she is trying to rush you out the door, she takes the time to listen to you and notices things you might not be aware of yet. If you also see a physical therapist, Dr. Barr does a great job with making sure you’re doing your pt exercises correctly. I honestly wish that I had become a patient of hers sooner, because she’s so knowledgeable and has made such a big difference in my day-to-day pain levels!

Dr. Barr is great! She's validating, kind, and skilled in her profession. She's been a great help to me with my lower back and neck pain, and I've noticed significant improvement in a short period of time. As a person with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos (and the trifecta), it can be difficult to find specialized care. Huntsville is very fortunate to have a doctor who is knowledgeable about this syndrome and can provide the skilled treatments it requires.

I am truly impressed by how Dr. Barr approaches both the individual ailment and the whole body as a interconnected system. She offers thoughtful ideas and recommendations for strengthening the body between visits. I've always appreciated her willingness to listen and assist. I like that you can send her a text and receive a direct response. She is genuinely an outstanding doctor. I hope she stays consistent, caring, and continues to excel in her profession. Dr. Barr will also be an excellent teacher and mentor to students for many generations.

Dr Barr and staff have been wonderful. I suffer from severe back pain and have tried many different treatments & medication. I have definitely gotten more relief from the treatment I get here than anything else. I recommend them very highly. Relief without the side effects!
