Kasey Thompson, RMT, graduated from the WCCMT (West Coast College of Massage Therapy) in 2006. The WCCMT is widely recognized as one of the best colleges of it's type in North America. RMT's in BC are held to the highest standards of practice, are governed by the CMTBC (College of Massage Therapists of BC), and are regulated by both the HPA and PIPA Acts. Before founding VMT with her business partner, Kasey practiced at a multidisciplinary clinic and experienced working along side many other healthcare professionals like chiropractors, naturopathic and medical doctors, physiotherapists and nutritionists. Kasey has recently expanded her training to include Stott Pilates Mat training for Beginners and Intermediate Level. She incorporates this training into her practice, teaching her patient's core exercises to help speed up their recovery and maintain their results.Victoria Massage Therapy was founded in 2006 and has since grown into an integrated multidisciplinary health center offering acupuncture, athletic therapy, naturopathic medicine, osteopathy, physiotherapy and registered massage therapy. The clinic employs a team approach to providing high quality health care services to it's patient's. Therapists work together to develop individualized treatment plans that get results as quickly as possible. All therapists here strongly believe in high ethical standards of care. If we believe our patient would recover faster or benefit more from a different treatment modality, for example massage therapy vs. physiotherapy, we don't hesitate to refer to one another, or outside of the clinic if appropriate. You are assured to be in good hands and receive the highest standards of care available.
