Dr. Gene was practicing for several years helping the Howard County community feel better. Overtime he realized that most people can benefit from more than just their diagnosis or pain. It was obvious that the way healthcare was set up it wasn't ideal to help people live healthier lives. Now Recharge is the culmination of breaking down silos of care and allowing people to experience proactive healthcare. No more limitations of health insurance. No more waiting to get hurt. Recharge allows the Howard County community to get healthy through HoCo CrossFit classes. Community members can also come in for science based physical therapy if they have aches or pains. Dr. Gene is also a certified manual therapist and certified in dry needling. He specializes in treating runners, athletes and spine issues.Why Did We Open Recharge? We've been practicing doctors of physical therapy for several years. Healthcare was designed on a reactive, instead of a proactive foundation. There had to be a better way. That's why Recharge was created. We know that exercise has tremendous benefit both physically and mentally. We know that physical therapy helps people move better and become pain-free naturally and effectively. Finally, we know tracking health data and metrics can help show data trends for possible emerging issues. Recharge integrates fitness, physical therapy and health data all in one membership. All under one roof. Group fitness classes are developed and led by doctors of physical therapy.
