Dr. Steven Mikulak is a board certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He is a family and sports chiropractor in Rockford, MI. He grew up in Rockford, attended Michigan State University, then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He has been the health writer for Recoil Magazine for the past 2 years, been featured on MichiganSportsRadio.com and published a book, "The Healthy Life Project" in March of 2012. He has spent the last 16 years of his life learning and researching of the inter-workings of the human body and its amazing capabilities. He believes that the body is a self-healing, self-regulating machine, if functioning optimally. If you feed your body the right fuel, strengthen and maintain its structure, and ensure that your nervous system (Which coordinates and runs the ENTIRE show) is functioning to it's utmost ability, the body will take care of the rest.Healthy Life Pain & Performance Solutions (originally Newman Chiropractic) was founded by Dr. Royce G. Newman, DC and proudly served thousands of West Michigan residents for over 40 years. In 2009, Dr. Steven Mikulak, DC (a former patient of Dr. Newman) returned to his home town to work with his childhood chiropractor and mentor. In June of 2010, Dr. Mikulak purchased the practice and in 2011, Healthy Life Pain & Performance Solutions was born. By 2013, the practice had outgrown its location and moved to its new 3300 sq ft. facility the corner of 10 mile and Main St. in the heart of beautiful downtown Rockford.
