Pilar has been a professional Holistic Health Practitioner since 2000. As a master massage therapist she has worked with many doctors, acupuncturists, physical therapists & chiropractors. She was a principal massage instructor at Healing Hands School of Holistic Health for over ten years & awarded 2010 "Teacher of the Year". Trained in Ayurveda, she's an honors graduate of Mount Madonna Institute, College of Ayurveda where she has studied under some of the most recognized doctors in the field, including Dr. Lad, Dr. Douillard & Dr. Shresta. With advanced training in Ayurvedic OB/GYN with Dr.Ath. A certified Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Massage Therapist helping men & women with fertility support, pelvic pain & digestive issues. Specializing in women's health & wellness is a passion. Using the many modalities she has learned over the years, she uses her skills to help support women & their families in their journey through pregnancy, with fertility support & birth support as a doulaPilar's Wellness Collective (formerly Shri Veda Wellness) was opened in 2009, moved to it's current location in 2020. Prior to 2009 the business was known as Indigo Healing.
