Dr. Rick has been a resident of Discovery Bay since 2002. He has a B.S. in Physical Education and Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is a member of the United States Swimming Sports Medicine and Science Network, and served his residency under Dr. Nick Athens of Athens Chiropractic Clinic in San Carlos. It was there where he had the opportunity to work with many current and retired professional athletes. he is the official chiropractor of the annual Joe Montana Celebrity Golf Tournament and team doctor for the Delta Patriots Youth Football Team. He is a certified Golf Injury Specialist.Dr. Rick Pierce is a Palmer graduate who has been practicing in Discovery Bay since 2002. He has an extensive background in sports related injuries. He has had the opportunity to work with many professional athletes, including Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Michael Phelps and many others.
