A propos

Sarah is the owner of Physiothérapie Avantex. She is a licensed, CAMPT-certified physiotherapist specializing in the management of vestibular and orthopedic injuries. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Anatomy & Cell Biology) at McGill university in 2006, and went on to complete her Master of Science (Applied) Physical Therapy in 2010. She completed her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy and achieved the rank of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists in Fall 2017. Sarah's fields of interest are post-concussion syndrome, vestibular rehabilitation, spinal pain, and cervicogenic headache. In collaboration with her colleagues in the neuropsychology field, Sarah has previously developed and implemented a successful, evidence-based concussion rehabilitation program. Sarah is also an accomplished long-distance runner and triathlete. She loves working with athletes of all levels, from weekend-warrior to professional.Physiothérapie Avantex was founded in 2019 by Sarah El Queisi. After almost 10 years practicing physiotherapy in different settings, and during that time developing expertise in the treatment of vestibular disorders and persistent post-concussion syndrome, Sarah decided that it was time to open her own space. Plans for Physiothérapie Avantex were laid out while Sarah was on maternity leave, and the clinic was born of the desire to create a workplace sensitive to the need for work-life balance. Here at Physiothérapie Avantex, we strive to offer a warm and welcoming environment to put clients at ease, while offering the latest evidence-based, expert physiotherapy care.
