Kelley Penrose, PT graduated from the University of Evansville in 2002 with her Bachelor of Science and Master of Physical Therapy degrees. After initially working in the acute care setting of a hospital, she found her niche in outpatient orthopedics and has over 12 years of experience in private practice settings. It has always been her dream to run a physical therapy clinic that focuses on the patient's needs first. That dream is a now a reality at Penrose Physical Therapy. Kelley has extensive training in many manual therapy techniques for the treatment of the spine and peripheral joints, fascia, and muscle injuries. Manual therapy techniques include Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan, and Paris, as well as positional release techniques, and the Kinesio-taping method. She also specializes in the treatment of Women's health disorders, including pelvic pain, incontinence, pain associated with pregnancy, and more.Penrose Physical Therapy opened in August of 2013 in our converted home living room in Osceola, IN. In August of 2015, we moved to our current location in Granger, IN. We have always been focused on providing individualized, one-on-one treatment, with our clients. We look for and address root causes of pain through movement analysis, identification of muscle imbalances, and evidenced-based treatment practices. We specialize in Women's Health and Pregnancy, Wellness Programs, and traditional orthopedic rehabilitation. Benjamin Franklin said,"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Educating our clients about what they can do to prevent dysfunction, pain, and to self-treat versus seeking professional help is one of our highest priorities.
