I became interested in chiropractic and massage therapy as a result of my own journey to health. At the age of 12, I was in a severe car accident on an icy road in my home town in Illinois. As the passenger in the car, my body was thrown violently into the passenger door, where the window crank became lodged into my skull. I suffered severe headaches and occasional seizures for many years afterwards. Frustrated with the lack of relief from conventional medical treatment, in my late teens I started researching alternative treatments to relive the pain and anxiety I was suffering from. On this path, I learned the basics about how thoughts govern pain, govern health, and govern happiness. I found massage therapy, and Chiropractic to help relieve my tension and strained muscles from that first severe trauma. I have started teaching workshops on Wellness Philosophy, Women's' Issues, Meditation, Life Balance, Gratitude, Yoga and Nutrition, all as part of my "Living A Healed Life" series.Dr. Paisley is a graduate of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, and is a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist.
