Shan Teixeira Owner, Doctor of Physical Therapy Owner, Shan Teixeira has been a physical therapist for 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 1993. He went on to pursue advanced training and received a Clinical Master's degree in Orthopedic Manual Therapy with the Ola Grimsby Institute in 1997, and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy through the University of Montana in 2012. Dr. Teixeira has been published in the Journal of Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy, is an APTA Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and also certified in Ergonomics. Shan has taught seminars on arthritis, treatment of back conditions and served as a faculty member at the Central Maine School of Massage where he taught Anatomy & Kinesiology. With advanced skills, individualized care and a comprehensive approach, Dr. Teixeira is able to successfully rehab patients with difficult or recurring musculoskeletal conditions.
