Yasmin Hassim is a New York State licensed massage therapist, myofascial specialist, osteo- facial specialist, certified stretch coach, certified personal trainer, wellness expert and owner at YH Fitness Inc. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree at University of Natal, Durban South Africa she attended various Fitness and Wellness certifications and Master Training Certifications and went on to complete the 1000 hour massage therapy program at the prestigious and internationally acclaimed Swedish institute of Massage therapy in New York City. Yasmin has been a very successful Personal trainer and wellness coach since 2002 with extensive experience with sports conditioning and rehabilitation . She has been practicing in New York City, The Hamptons NY and Palm Beach Florida. Her clientele varies from pro athletes to busy executives, housewives and teens. Yasmin is currently studying Manual Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto.Appointments now available in Nassau County, Long Island and Hartsdale/Scarsdale NY. Established in Westchester NY, Serving NYC, Long Island and Palm Beach FL since 2005. Yasmin worked for many years as an Exercise Physiologist and Sports Rehabilitation Specialist. Yasmin developed a passion for helping people who had chronic pain and found her true calling as a licensed medical massage therapist. She is currently undergoing certification for Structural Integration and continuing her studies in Osteopathy. Yasmin has specialized in Osteofascial therapy, Myofascial dysfunction and Myofascial Release massage therapy and Migraine treatment since 2004. Myofascial Release is a safe and effective technique that applies sustained pressure to affected areas to eliminate pain and restore motion. No oils or creams to machines are used during this form of therapy.
