Dr. Michael Ko has been a physical therapist since May 2007 when he graduated from the University of Southern California as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has been continuing his education with courses, mainly through the Institute of Physical Arts, because he is determined to find the most effective way to get patients to reach their optimal potential in the least amount of time. He does this through high level manual therapy and patient education. Dr. Ko evaluates every patient as a whole unit, instead of only looking at their pain or a particular body part. Outside of his profession, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, family, 3 pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) and learning Jiu-jitsu. He is currently a blue belt and trains at the UFC gym.Michael Ko, PT, DPT, CFMT treats patients out of Joseph S. Luk Physical Therapy located in Glendale, CA. We use a combination of functional manual therapy and exercises focused on improving motor control. Each treatment is completely individualized to the patient. Our emphasis is to do everything possible to make the best and fastest improvements with our patients.
