Joy has practiced in the outpatient setting since earning her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. Joy is an active member of the New York Physical Therapy Association, serving as treasurer, district director and member of the board of directors. Joy worked as a registered nurse before becoming a physical therapist. Joy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from St. Francis College. Vincent J. Cavallaro, PT owned and operated since 1989. Vincent also practices inpatient rehabilitation and acute care at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. Clinical expertise in electromyography, as well as orthotics and prosthetics. Vincent has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Brooklyn/Staten Island district of the New York Physical Therapy Association.Vincent is a graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Health Related Professions. Both are adjunct lectures for various colleges.Masefield & Cavallaro Physical Therapy is a physical therapist-owned practice with offices in Brooklyn and Staten Island. We have a history of over 30 years of promoting physical rehabilitation in a professional and welcoming environment. We pride ourselves in the quality of care our patients receive from our staff of skilled specialists. All treatments are performed only by licensed physical therapists or physical therapist assistants.
