A propos

Lora is board certified in massage therapy and bodywork and has been in practice since 2006. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Community Health Education at Portland State University, studied CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute, thai massage with The Bahn Jai Center for Thai Massage in Portland, Oregon, and is certified in medical massage therapy. Lora has advanced skills in musculoskeletal rehabilitative techniques, and is a 500 hour registered yoga instructor specializing in yoga therapy. In the fall of 2018, Lora enrolled in a herbal medicine course and continues to enjoy her studies at Sunnyside Herb School in Corvallis, Oregon. Lora appreciates her personal yoga practice, and broadening her knowledge of bodywork and complementary modalities. Her treatment protocols offer lasting results far beyond the time of service.Lora Edmiston, owner and operator of Lone Oak Massage + Bodywork, moved from Portland to Corvallis in the fall of 2016 with her husband and pups and brought her practice along with her. She now proudly calls the heart of the valley home and enjoys being able to offer her services to the city of Corvallis and surrounding communities.
