Dr. Michael Stratton was born and raised in Bartow, Florida and graduated from Bartow High School in 1995. Dr. Stratton attended Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN where he received a football scholarship and earned a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Michael Stratton the attended Sherman College of Chiropractic where he earned is Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2005. Dr. Stratton returned to Polk County and now lives in Lakeland with his wife Camille and their four children. Dr. Michael Stratton opened Lakeland's Health & Family Chiropractic with the belief he could, through specific chiropractic care, nutrition and education, improve the lives of thousands of his neighbors. Dr. Stratton believes the human body is amazing and we are designed to be healthy, vibrant, and full of energy. We should have the ability to work, play and enjoy our lives, as well as, serve each other. Dr. Stratton is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, the Florida Chiropractic AssociationHere at Lakeland Health & Family Chiropractic, we serve the needs of all people from infants to the elderly. Our multifaceted approach is an important aspect to your overall health, whether you are suffering from acute or chronic pain, a minor affliction, or dealing with a life-long condition. 5 weeks of treatment changed my life. At The Lakeland Chiropractor, you are an active participant in your healing process. You learn why and how and what; you’re not just coming in to blindly receive a treatment hoping it works. At the end of last year, I received an MRI on my spine and was referred to a neurosurgeon. Prescription drugs were the only thing that would come close to taking the edge off the pain of my injury. There was not a single day that would go by that I didn’t feel the presence of it. Every aspect of my life was dictated by my injury – whether or not I could bend down to pick up my dog’s food bowl, what other activities I would have to sacrifice if I choose to take a car ride longer than 20 minutes, bending over and having to walk my hands up my legs to get back to upright, not being able to turn over in the middle of the night, going from sitting to standing without having to pause to fully straighten out before walking, walking further than a half mile without getting shooting pains down my legs. This had become my normal at 37 YEARS OLD. After 3 weeks of treatment, I was beginning to see improvement in my daily functions and capabilities. Week 5 rolled around and I realized I was beginning to have days where I didn’t feel or think about my injury AT ALL. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. Thanks to Dr. Michael Stratton, I’m getting my life back.

So glad someone told us about THE Lakeland Chiropractor. Dr. Stratton is absolutely wonderful. He is super knowledgeable and straightforward. He gave me his full attention during my initial exam and for every follow up adjustment always gets the areas that are hurting. Thanks Doc!

I have been miserable for two weeks once my sciatic pain started in my second trimester and I had instant relief after my first session and went for another one the next day! Definitely worth it! And glad I came here! He’s extremely knowledgeable and made me comfortable with continuing coming here for adjustments

Look no further! THE Lakeland Chiropractor is where you need to try your next adjustment! I appreciate the upfront and clear information they communicate, they answer all questions that come to mind pertaining to treatment. The atmosphere is calming and welcoming- I also appreciate the adjustments, treatment plan and care they have provided!!! I have been going here for a couple of months after a car accident.
