At Jenny April Movements (JAM), we love working with complex symptoms and recognize that there are often multiple sites of pain that can coexist. These kinds of symptoms which travel throughout the body are often caused by imbalances of the fascial and nervous system. At JAM, one of the main healing tools we use with clients is the GYROTONIC Expansion System ~ a creative & intuitive exercise system that addresses the entire individual; it unlocks energy pathways, invigorates the nervous system, increases range of motion, and builds strength & movement efficiency. It is a unique movement practice that incorporates principles from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and t'ai chi. At JAM, we look at entire individuals and all the patterns, tissue layers and training that informs their movement intentions. Our holistic and individually crafted treatment approach creates an environment for sustainable healing and thriving for our clients.
