A propos

Prior to Dr. J's formal chiropractic training, he studied both biology and business at BYU-Idaho. While there, Dr. J found his love for the human body and its capability for self healing. In 2009, Dr J, his wife, and soon to be daughter, moved to St Louis, Missouri to attend the premier Logan College of Chiropractic. Here Dr. J received a cutting edge education in Chiropractic healthcare, Physiotherapy, manual medicine, and Nutrition. After an intense and accelerated course of study, Dr. J became the first to simultaneously earn the degrees of Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance, graduating Magna Cum Laude (with high honors) in both degrees. Dr. J has supplemented his formal education with several certifications and studies a variety of adjusting and manual medicine techniques. At the top of this list is a certification in Active Release Techniques® (ART), a complete, full body soft tissue management system.Higher Health Chiropractic was founded by twin sisters, Pauline and Deanne Arnill. As the twins each got married and started their families they turned the practice over to Dr. Kimberly Williams. Dr. Williams followed a similar life path as the twins and left the practice in the hands of Dr. Colby Johnson (Dr. J) in 2012. Dr. J is married and has 3 beautiful children and he promises not to get pregnant and move away. Higher Health Chiropractic's name is not only a reference to being in the southern shadow of the mile high city, but also a call increase the health of each individual it is able to touch so they can enjoy to true Colorado lifestyle. In 2011, Higher Health Chiropractic relocated to a beautiful office 1 mile east of I-25 on Lincoln.

Update: After a couple of months of adjustments I can’t believe I walked around feeling so out of alignment! Feet used to hurt all the time, had headaches and thought they were probably stress related, and just thought I was getting older and this is my life. It was not! I’m adjusted, feeling great, walk forever without pain and overall mood is fantastic too! Who knew or could understand just how much getting my body in alignment would do for me. Best birthday present to myself I have ever purchased. Somewhat sad I don’t see Doc J and the team as often but it’s because I’m busy living life again! Treat yourself and watch your own progress with scans and X-rays as backup! Before: Finally a place I can trust instead of the Walmart of chiropractors experience! Wanted to leave a stellar review even before my appointment was completed! Yes, that’s how awesome I felt. Staff are very nice and treated me with the utmost respect and appreciation and I was told what and why. When they placed me in an examination room, they didn’t close the door to make me feel forgotten! Dr. J, just as nice as his staff. The explanation, reason for the next step was so informative that you automatically felt at ease, which makes adjustments a piece of cake. I wasn’t expecting as much as I got and I got a thousand percent from the experience, the knowledge, and what to look forward to on my future visits! Certainly got more than I was expecting and can’t wait for this journey! Bye bye Walmart Chiropractors ForEveR!

Cannot say enough positive things about Dr J and his staff! Words couldn’t even describe how thankful I am for them. Over the last 6 months they have been incredibly supportive and helpful. As I have been going through an incredibly hard season it has been nice to walk in knowing the environment is absolutely welcoming instead of the normal rushed feel you get from other medical practices. They make every person feel like family and have your absolute best interest in mind. The different scans you get through your treatment is very nice and very helpful to see the progress you are making! Recommend 100%

I was having severe sciatica pain and lower back pain before I decided to get some help. Dr. J has helped already get the pain down to minimal in the 1st month of my treatment plan. Staff is great and friendly.
