Dr. Koi is from Charlotte, NC, but has roots from Sierra Leone, West Africa. Dr. Koi holds a Bachelors in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health and Fitness. While at East Carolina University, he ran the 100m and 200m as a member of ECU track and field "Sprint Squad". Dr. Koi also holds a Masters of Science in Exercise Science California University of Pennsylvania. He was a Pursuit of Excellence Scholar at Cal U and his degree focused on Injury Prevention and Performance Enhancement. Dr. Koi is a certified Health Fitness Specialist with the American College of Sport Medicine, a Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and an Advanced Golf Fitness Instructor with Titleist Performance Institute. He served the metro Charlotte community as a Fitness Director, Personal Trainer, and Strength Coach helping people with Parkinson's Disease, cardiovascular disease, sport performance and injuries, and general wellness.Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center (North Lauderdale) specializes in treating and managing pain, decreasing and/or eliminating stress associated with spinal health and providing therapy and treatment for injuries. Goldson Spine continues to offer state of the art technology to include Digital Motion X-Ray, Flexion Distraction Table and Laser Treatments. We are certified to do D.O.T. physicals, and our list of services will help treat patients for a variety of afflictions and injuries including headaches, back and neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, and disc problems. Our team also treats patients involved in auto accidents, slip and falls, and those who have experienced work- related injuries
