A propos
Our family practice began over 30 years ago with Dr. Thomas Fritz, DC. Doctor Thom was an elite athlete serving as the team captain for the Ohio State swim team and then working with olympic-level athletes in Colorado Springs. His love for creative innovation in athletic training lead him to become a chiropractor. Years later, his son Derek followed in his father's footsteps. Dr. Derek worked with his Dad while his wife Megan attended Colorado State University earning a Ph.D. in Human Bioenergetics. Though Dr. Thom passed away in 2017, Dr. Derek continues his father's legacy by continually searching for the latest innovations in health and wellness in an effort to provide his patients with the best care available. Dr. Derek and Megan have grown their family along the way, and Dr. Megan now spends her time in research, helping out at the office, and raising their three small children. We hope to continue serving our community for another 30 years and beyond!

I called twice and talked at length with them about oxygen therapy. When I arrived, they were not prepared to do an oxygen treatment because they said they have not been given the information that I was coming for oxygen treatment.
It’s understandable that they had an a miscommunication like that. However — then I asked to be comped an oxygen session because of the error (The amount of my time that took up, about 2 hours driving) … things went downhill. The doctor became very irritated at that request. Rather than just say no to my request or offer a different solution, he made it clear that he was entirely unwilling to see me as a client. I found his attitude in the interaction very confrontational.
Two stars rather than 1 because his office manager seemed very lovely and was very caring about what had happened.

Dr Fritz is a real one! He knows so much about the whole body and is my first choice when health issues arise. He has a friendly welcoming presence and doesn’t have the intention to just make money off of you. The front desk personnel are also warm and supportive people. I travel an hour to see him. Best place ever!

I was having bad upper back pain. My past experiences with chiropractor's hadn't been pleasant. They were too crack happy & aggressive. My husband talked me into seeing Dr. Fritz & am I ever glad he did! Dt. Derek really listened & respected my fears. He was VERY gentle & used some tools on me. Not a single crack but after just 1 visit I was amazed at how good I felt. I will be seeing him frequently & am looking forward to my appointment. He's perfect for seniors too. The gentle manipulation he uses does not hurt! This is a super chiropractor & I highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr. Fritz for over five years for regular health maintenance. His full body awareness and immense knowledge surpass many others in his field. He does so much more than just pain elimination. The entire staff at Fritz wellness is professional, informative, and courteous. I highly recommend Fritz Wellness!

Seeing Dr Fritz has changed my life. No other doctor would have connected my stomach issues to a misplaced vertebra in my neck! I can't imagine the suffering I avoided by going to Fritz Wellness instead of a conventional doctor. I feel so much better seeing them regularly:)
