So far so very good. This is not your typical chiropractic treatment, so know that going in. Ben listens, and is analytical about his approach to adjustments. I have not yet tried Monika, but she is on my list.

I arrived at Dr. Franz's practice in March of 2019, after having been diagnosed with an Atlas Subluxation Complex by a different Upper Cervical Chiropractor, a condition that I had been suffering from and suffering the effects of for over 40 years. Needless to say, by the time it was discovered, I had suffered considerable to my entire spine. The treatment of this initial Upper Cervical Chiropractor was no longer effective as he was relying on the traditional treatment of the NUCCA procedure, without modification to suit the situation with which he faced. Consequently, the disease process overpowered his adjustments, and I found myself in the same position I was in before I came to see him. But thank God I found or discovered Dr. Franz, whom I would describe as literal "life saver" in my case: my nervous system completely off again with all manner of frightening neurological symptoms; the reverse curve was pushing my head forward even more so; my torso was rotating backwards on the left side; my hips were "grossly" rotated, with my right leg approximately 1'' shorter than the other, accompanied by a severe right head tilt and constant pain behind my left ear. I HAD NO QUALITY OF LIFE WHATSOEVER!!!. Instead of relying on the traditional NUCCA model of measuring the degree to which the Atlas is off, Dr Franz focused on correcting my posture and weight distribution, a pragmatic approach which was completely outside of the box! I began to get better almost immediately. He stabilized my spine as much as possible as my case was very complicated due to the fact that the damage to my spine was so extensive. To achieve this degree of stabilization, Dr. Franz had to devise a techniques specific to me and my unique situation. My spine began to correct itself as much as possible, under the circumstances, and I got my life back!! I am able to look forward to tomorrow again!!! Dr. Franz is an absolute "sterling" Upper Cervical Chiropractor, a true practitioner, a Dr. who embraces the challenging and complicated cases which comes his way, or with which he is exposed, with a dedication and determination to make the lives of his patients better!!! I absolutely love Dr. Monika. I was having a lot of hormone issues and she was the first doctor that truly listened to my concerns. She ran thorough bloodwork and made a treatment plan for me that has been life changing! I am doing so much better thanks to her expertise! TLDR: Gentle, effective NUCCA care that gave my family real relief after years of pain — genuinely life-changing! FULL REVIEW: There are two components to Franz Family Spinal Care: NUCCA Chiropractic, led by Dr. Ben, and Functional Medicine, led by Dr. Monica. My family has had wonderful experiences with both, but for this review I’ll focus on the chiropractic side, since that’s what I can personally speak to the most. My husband, my parents, and I have all been seeing Dr. Ben for well over two years now, and the results have been nothing short of miraculous, especially for me and my partner. My husband fractured several vertebrae many years ago and had struggled with daily back pain ever since. Despite trying countless other chiropractors, nothing brought lasting relief. After just a few months with Dr. Ben though, the improvement was remarkable. He's now able to stand up straighter, stay on his feet longer, and do so without constant pain creeping in. As for me, I'd been struggling with knee pain for almost five years. I eventually resigned myself to the idea that chronic pain was just part of my daily life now. After only a few sessions with Dr. Ben, though, the pain completely disappeared -- as in, it's totally gone. Even better is that I spend a lot of time hiking, and on the occasions when I've tweaked my knee out on the trail, Dr. Ben has been able to get me back to feeling good as new very quickly. I only wish I could have found Dr. Franz years ago. He is a very thorough, caring and knowledgeable doctor. Dr. Franz has made a remarkable improvement in a short period of time in regards to my neck, back and hip issues. If you are looking for permanent relief or significant improvement, please see him as soon as possible.
