Licensed acupuncturist Donna Selle has been caring for the Treasure Valley community for over 17 years. An Idaho native, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Performance at Boise State University. After a 12 year career in live theater as a performer, designer and director, her passion for supporting people lead her to Bastyr University in Seattle where she was awarded the Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture. Donna recognizes the historic absence of women in medical research and development and is passionate about delivering compassionate, gentle care, addressing the unique needs of women in all stages of life. People of all backgrounds and identities are welcome and embraced in her practice, and discrimination, exclusion or bigotry will never be tolerated in her presence. Your safety and privacy are fiercely protected and ensured by rigorous guidelines and safeguards. Patients are treated with dignity and respect regardless of sexual orientation or identity. Acupuncturist Donna Selle established her practice in the Treasure Valley 17 years ago when she opened The People’s Clinic. She’s gone on to work in a large physical therapy practice treating orthopedic conditions. She has worked at St. Luke’s Hospital treating inpatients in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecology, Obstetrics and Oncology in the St. Luke’s Cancer Institute. Donna has found patients who are treated regularly and frequently in their own environments respond to treatment faster and better than when they come to her office. Any potential apprehension about receiving acupuncture is greatly decreased when the patient can remain in a familiar environment. This also eliminates the time and energy challenges encountered when a patient receives multiple therapies and has several appointments each month. Decreasing these stressors better enables patients to respond to care more effectively.
