3 yrs ago I was injured (and summarily dismissed) here. 0 stars. Beware. went to Elizabeth Hoofer to help w a disc bulge in my neck however, I asked specifically that we not physically manipulate my cervical spine as I have MS lesions and cervical damage, and was interested in making use of the drop table. Alongbw the drop table she then stood me upright pressed up into my shoulder blade, it felt like stepping on a potato chip in my neck. Drove home in wild pain. For 11 days her office told me I was “reliving the original trauma from the accident” which didn’t strike me as empirical but ok. By day 11 it was hospital time, I went back to the same orthopedist who was treating the OG bulge (the one I saw Dr. Hoefer for) and learned that the disc opposite that disc was now bulging and herniated. As soon as her office found out I was seeing the orthopedist, and asked if images were being taken, I heard from her lawyers - while in the parking lot of her office- that I was dismissed from her care. Do chiros take the Hippocratic oath? Anyway, I grew up w chiropracy but I will now never see one again. And also, it was super inhumane to be treated the way I was. It really hurt me personally when I was already hurt, and then hurt again - by her. Not only immoral, it was incredibly unkind. Good luck and beware.

I started coming to Dr. Hoefer after I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. To manage the extreme pain, my doctor prescribed a nerve pain medication and told me I would need it for the rest of my life. Although the medication worked, I was determined to find an alternative solution. After much research, I visited a chiropractor in my area who referred me to Dr. Hoefer, a two-hour drive away. After my first visit, I was convinced I was in the right place. Dr. Hoefer was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and confident she could help me. She performed my first adjustment, which was absolutely painless, and I weaned off the medication. It has been almost two and a half years since I’ve taken the medication, and I have not had an issue with trigeminal neuralgia since! Recently, I’ve been experiencing lower back pain, and Dr. Hoefer immediately pinpointed the problem and treated it. The distance I have to drive for each visit is SO worth the care I receive. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hoefer and her entire team! Dr. Hoefer is not just an average chiropractor; she has truly become a friend.

Dr. Hoefer is a godsend! My 2 month old son had severe torticollis causing Plagiocephaly (flat head) on one side of his head since he couldn’t rotate his neck. Our pediatrician referred us to PT to fix the neck rotation & said we would probably need a doc band to correct the issue. However there was a several month wait to get into PT and all they were going to do was show us to stretch at home but that wasn’t going to do much for him & I really wanted to avoid the stress of a doc band. A friend referred me to Dr. hoefer after telling me she had taken her baby for just overall stiffness and she was able to resolve it. I didn’t even know chiropractics was a thing for infants but within 4 visits my son’s torticollis is completely gone and his plagiocephaly is improving SO much that we won’t even need a doc band! We truly saw improvement with each visit and he can rotate his neck FULLY in both directions now. We are so so so grateful for Dr. Hoefer. She’s so knowledgeable, gentle, kind, and truly cares about each and every one of her patients (same with all of the staff at the office -they know my son by name)! I cannot recommend her enough & will be referring all my friends with little ones to her.

I've always been skeptical of Chiropractors due to so many bad experiences and Chiropractors that would just take advantage of my back pain and schedule me for the maximum amount that my insurance would allow. But my husband found Dr. Hoefer from a YouTuber (Jonathan Morrison) suffering from his own issues, and I decided to pay her a visit. So far she has been the most receptive Healthcare professional, who not only pays attention to all the things that I have been suffering from but also thoroughly explains the treatment that she has planned out for me. I've been suffering from back pain (upper cervical) and lower back pain, often waking up in the middle of the night in pain. Since she has started treating me I've consistently seen improvement day by day, and every visit. I'm very grateful that I've found her and will continue my journey of recovery. Thank you, Dr. Hoefer and everyone in that office!

Dr. Hoefer is an amazing chiropractor and an overall genuinely caring person. She performed a Blair upper cervical adjustment and my neck's range of motion has increased incredibly. Her entire staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Hoefer at Well Connected Chiropractic!
