Sanford "Sandy" Sheklow is the owner and Director of Services at DSC Physical Therapy, Inc. and has been with the company since 1986. He received his degree in Physical Therapy from the Wingate Institute in 1980 while living in Israel. Sandy has developed an extensive background in Physical Therapy and rehabilitation techniques and attends additional continuing education courses on a regular basis. In addition to treating orthopedic and sports related injuries, he has developed specialties in the treatment of TMJ, Vertigo, and Pediatric Care. Sandy is a member of th APTA, CPPSIG, and PTPN and currently serves as Public Relations Chair for iPT (a California Private Practice organization). He has co-authored numerous manuscripts and articles on various aspects of patient care and has consulted as an "expert witness" for legal cases involving physical therapists. Sandy is always available to answer any questions regarding any aspect of clinic operations and patient care.DSC Physical Therapy, Inc. is a therapist owned and operated private practice facility. Our objective is to assist and encourage our patients in achieving maximum levels of rehabilitation by reducing pain and discomfort while improving strength, range of motion, joint stability and functional capacity. A return to as "normal" and productive lifestyle as possible is our ultimate goal. Our skilled and courteous staff will work toward these goals in cooperation with the referring physicians, insurance companies and other healthcare professionals in an effort to provide the most comprehensive care possible.
