Dr. Brian Crawford is the owner and practicing chiropractic physician associated with Crawford Chiropractic. Dr. Crawford had the privilege of growing up in Kirksville, MO, the birthplace of Osteopathic Medicine during an era when Osteopathic physicians still performed regular spinal manipulation. This gave him a profound appreciation of the effectiveness of manipulation. Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Crawford graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a B.S. in Optical Science. He worked for nearly five years as an engineer in Huntsville designing fiber optic sensors, for which he received two patents. It was his personal experience with two years of knee pain that was finally cured by chiropractor that caused him to look into chiropractic as a career. In 1999, he graduated from the esteemed Palmer College of Chiropractic, and opened Crawford Chiropractic in Champaign later that year.
