A propos

Hi, my name is Monty Banks and I'm a local from South Pasadena. I've been a movement specialist/ sports massage therapist for the past 12 years and love helping people get out of pain and showing them how to stay out of pain. After earning my massage license I worked in 2 chiropractic offices and a Sports rehab clinic. Before I became a movement specialist I majored in accounting and did that shortly. I realized I always had a passion for health and wellness dating back to my high school and college days where I played Water Polo and excelled at teaching kids and young adults how to swim. I was fortunate to attract several mentors that showed me the benefits of movement assessment combined with a variety of hands on soft-tissue techniques. My professional training and my experiences as a collegiate athlete and sports enthusiast allows me to be able to relate to my clients in a deep way. A movement based protocol from the Physical Therapy world that allows me to assess your movement and get to the root cause of your problems. I also incorporate techniques such as ART, Neuro-muscular therapy, sports massage to name a few. Basically I help you get out of pain and teach you how to maintain feeling good!
